We’re celebrating our 85th business year and thank you for your support and trust.
Mr. K.A. Pridjian founded our company in 1924, soon after his arrival in Chicago. Times have changed since he first came to the city of broad shoulders, but our dedication to being worthy of your confidence remains the same. K.A. Pridjian & Company has built its reputation on the highest standards of integrity in business, knowledge, selection, value, and reliability in the products and services we provide.

From very simple beginnings, K.A. Pridjian built his company into a highly respected source for
Oriental Rugs and Broadloom carpeting

carpet cleaning service
. In 1960 he built the largest and best-equipped
rug sales
and service facility in the Midwest. |
Soon after he acquired the
Karastan
line and today the company is one the nation’s oldest non-department store

He was among the first in the nation to add the newest rug cleaning machines, techniques and materials to make cleaning more modern, efficient, affordable, and complete. Rugs were thoroughly dusted to remove embedded sand and grit, meticulously washed and rinsed, then extracted and dried. It’s time consuming and labor intensive, but it yields the best results and it’s the same process we employ today with up-to-date refinements.
